Refunds & Payment AdjustmentsThe UAMB presents numerous events each year, both on a statewide level and through its various chapters. Most events are free for members, but require a nominal charge for non-members. The UAMB refund policy is as follows:

The UAMB will promptly issue a refund to any person who had pre-paid for an event and is unable to attend, only under the following conditions:

1. The person must request a refund from the UAMB in writing (via email or other written communication).
2. To be valid, the request must be received by the UAMB at least 48 hours in advance of the event, unless otherwise advertised or noted on the UAMB website.
3. Refunds will be issued in the same manner as payment was made (i.e. by cash, check, PayPal, Credit Card, etc.)
4. No refunds will be issued at the door or after the conclusion of any event for no-shows.

In the event a person or company registers in advance for an event, and in the process pays the incorrect amount (i.e. a non-member pays the members-only rate, etc.), the UAMB reserves the right to charge that person the difference prior to the event or at the door as a condition of entry, or (at the person's request) the UAMB may allow the person to join the association prior to the event or at the door, so that the person will qualify for the members-only price.

Please contact the UAMB Executive Director with any questions.
